What is Enhanced Login Security?
Enhanced Login Security adds an additional level of security by identifying you as the true "owner" of your accounts through the use of a "cookie" placed on your computer/browser that identifies it as your computer/browser. (Please note that technically it is your browser that is identified, not your PC). This feature strengthens the security measures we already employ.

Why is FTWCCU adding Enhanced Login Security?
On October 12, 2005, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), the regulators overseeing banks and credit unions, communicated that passwords alone will no longer be acceptable as the sole means of achieving online security. All financial institutions must comply with the terms of the FFIEC guidance by the end of 2006.

In addition to complying with this regulatory requirement, Enhanced Login Security is serving the best interests of our members. This additional security measure will help further minimize the ability of a fraudster to access online accounts.
